Admission & Parking: Unfortunately, the Horse Park Meets are always expensive and they will be charging $5 for parking and $6 for admission.  Yes, I find this ridiculous to charge for both.  Unfortunately this meet is our only chance to get on the State Meet course before the real thing.  Try and carpool!

Weather: Upper 70’s / Lower 80’s, humid, partly sunny.

Awards are through 15^th place in all races.

Focus Points:

·       After a week off of racing, we are back at it.  Get back in your night-before routine.  Eat right, hydrate, and get to sleep early.

·       This course is the same as the KHSAA State Meet.  Some of you will be running here later this year, and this is your course preview.

·       This is not a PR course.  Focus instead on moving up and gaining places over the second half of the race.  There will be very few fans or spectators that make it out past the 1-mile mark.  Your race will come down to toughness.

·       Embrace the pain, you’ve earned it!
