Fern Creek Cross Country 2018 Week 1 Update

Week 1 marks the beginning of competition for the Fern Creek Cross Country team.  Please read on for important information regarding this week’s meets and upcoming schedule:

Fern Creek Relays – 8/21/18

Thank you to all of our parents and volunteers who helped the 2018 edition of Fern Creek Relays to run so smoothly!  I have received numerous compliments from coaches regarding the meet, and many have already indicated that they will return in 2019.  I couldn’t put the meet on without the help and support of you all.

Bus Leaves: 7:30am

Boys Varsity: 9:30am

Boys JV: 10:50am

Girls JV = 11:30

Bus Returns: 1:00 (aprox.)

Weather: warm, scattered thunderstorms & rain, humid.

Awards: Varsity: Top-25, JV: Top-20

Focus Points:

• Get your gear together the night before, not the morning of the race.
• Be smart about food and hydration.
• Pay attention to details (walking the course, warmup, cooldown).
• Race smart, have fun, race smart!
• Have a plan in place for when it hurts!

We hope to see as many parents and supporters as possible over at the Fern Creek Tents!  Post-race snacks are always appreciated by the kids!
