Country 2018 Week 2 Update
Week 2 has been a long and
tiring week for the boys and girls of Fern Creek Cross Country. With the weather at ridiculously warm levels,
practices have been tougher than either the athletes or their coach
expected. The team will have an easy
practice this afternoon to help get them ready for Saturday’s Meet.

Focus Points:
- Even though this is not an early race,
you should catch up on sleep Friday evening – it’s been a long week. If you go to the football game do not
stand up the entire game (this kills your legs).
- Be smart about food and hydration.
- Pay attention to details (walking the course,
warmup, cooldown).
- Focus on 1-2 things that you want to do
better at this race than at Tiger Run.
- You are stronger than you think! It is going to hurt, but you can push
through it!
