Labor Day Weekend Training

Labor Day Weekend Training Plan

Friday, Sept 1st
·       Varsity A/B
o   Lunges/Leg Swings
o   Dynamic Warm-up
o   20 minutes easy out, then come back @ tempo (~16-17 minutes back)
·       JV A/B
o   Lunges/Leg Swings
o   Dynamic Warm-up
o   15 minutes easy out, then come back @ tempo (~13 minutes back)

Saturday, Sept 2nd
·       Varsity A/B
o   45-60 Minutes Run, steady, comfortable.
o   Strides and GS After
·       JV A/B
o   25 – 45 Minutes Run, steady, comfortable.
o   Strides and GS After

Sunday, Sept 3rd
·       Varsity A/B
o   Break Day
o   Cross Train (Bike, Hike, Swim etc) or Short 15 min Jog
o   Eat a pizza.  Stay out of trouble.  Take a nap.  Etc.
·       JV A/B
o   Take the entire day off.  Eat a pizza. Help your parents.  Do something nice for someone.  Get outside.  Read a book.  Tell your parents you love them.  Tell your parents you love them again.

Monday, Sept 4th
·       Varsity A/B
o   Long Run
o   10 Whole Miles
·       JV A/B
o   Long Run
o   5-8 Miles

Tuesday, Sept 5th
Back in School!

JV Meet @ Tom Sawyer Park = if you are a JV athlete, make sure to bring your uniform!  Varsity will be doing a workout.



CLOTHING ORDERS ARE DUE TUESDAY!!!
