Pasta Dinner #1

On Friday, Sept 15th, all runners and family are welcome to gather for a pre-race pasta dinner ahead of Saturday's Franklin Co. Invitational.  Please see below for specific details.

Time
6:00pm
Olive Garden does not take reservations, but does allow for call-ahead seating.  Please inform Coach Redies if you plan to attend, and how many will be attending.

Cost
Depends on the meal you order.  Please ensure you bring enough to cover your dinner, and a 15%-20% tip.  Servers and waitstaff often dislike high school groups because they forget/aren't aware of how much to tip.  We will represent Fern Creek with class and ensure that we tip appropriately.  If you want to see the menu, visit: http://www.olivegarden.com/menu-listing/dinner?view=list

Transportation
I will head over directly from school, and can give 2-3 runners a ride if needed.  Transportation home will be on your own.

Remember, this is completely optional, but a fun way to connect with your teammates and to enjoy a healthy meal before Saturday's race!

Focus Points

·      Pace!  Especially for our new runners.

·      Maintain your pace and pick people off in the woods – every place counts!

·      Although you train with your FC teammates, you need to run your own race during the last mile.
